'Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance' Announced for Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D[teaser]This summer, Nicolas Cage will once again don his flame retardant underwear on Blu-ray. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Sony will be bringing 'Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance' to high-definition in a Blu-ray/Ultraviolet Copy combo on June 12. 'Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance - 3D' will also be available on the same date. Based on the Marvel Comics character, the film sends former motorcycle stuntman Johnny Blaze (Cage) to Europe where he must try and save a family from the Devil (Ciarán Hinds). The movie co-stars Idris Elba, Anthony Head, and Christopher Lambert. The Blu-rays will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Directors' expanded video commentary, The Path to Vengeance: Making Ghost Rider 2, We Will Burn This City To Bitter Ashes, and exclusive to the 3D release will be Riding Into Another Dimension. Coming off a successful buzz-creating midnight showing at 2012 SXSW Film Festival, 'The Aggression Scale' is a unique take on the home invasion thriller with two teenagers confronting some heavily armed bad guys who are looking for stolen cash, leading to a bloody battle of wits and will. Directed by Steven C. Miller ('Scream of the Banshee'), the film stars, Dana Ashbrook (“Twin Peaks”), Derek Mears ('Friday the 13th,' 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) and Ray Wise (“Twin Peaks,” “Reaper”).
