'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol' Blu-ray Announced[teaser]One of the best action films of 2011 will arrive on Blu-ray in April! [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount's 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol' appears to be coming to Blu-ray on April 17. Blamed for the terrorist bombing of the Kremlin, IMF operative Ethan Hunt is disavowed along with the rest of the agency when the President initiates “Ghost Protocol.” Left without any resources or backup, Ethan must find a way to clear his agency’s name and prevent another attack. To complicate matters further, Ethan is forced to embark on this mission with a team of fellow IMF fugitives whose personal motives he does not fully know. Tom Cruise returns in the starring role as Ethan Hunt and is joined by an international cast that includes Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, Michael Nyqvist, Vladimir Mashkov, Josh Holloway, Anil Kapoor and Léa Seydoux. The Blu-ray/DVD/Ultraviolet Digital Copy combo pack will feature 1080p video, a Dolby TrueHD 7.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Mission Accepted, Impossible Missions, Deleted Scenes with optional commentary by director Brad Bird, Alternate Opening, and Trailers. 'War Horse' Dated for Blu-ray[teaser]Steven Spielberg's World War I epic based on Michael Morpurgo's novel will gallop to Blu-ray in April. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Disney/Buena Vista is saddling up 'War Horse' for Blu-ray on April 3. The story follows Albert (Jeremy Irvine) who enlists to serve in World War I after his beloved horse is sold to the cavalry. The film has been nominated for six Academy Awards including Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, Best Original Score (John Williams) and Best Picture. Specs have yet to be finalized, but the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack will include an assortment of featurettes: War Horse: The Journey Home, A Filmmaking Journey, Through the Producer's Lens, Editing and Scoring, An Extra's Point of View, and The Sounds of War Horse. Bethesda Not Allowed to Release 'Fallout 3' and 'Oblivion' Bundle on PS3[teaser]PC and Xbox 360 gamers will be able to pick it up this April. [/teaser] Bethesda has announced a new double pack of both 'Oblivion' and 'Fallout 3' that will be coming out this April for the Xbox 360 and PC. The PC version will run $20 while Xbox owners will have to shell out $30 and there's currently no information as to whether or not DLC will be included. As cool as that game release is, there's the question of a PS3 version. As it turns out, Bethesda wants to release the bundle on PS3 but can't. "At present we are not being allowed to release it on PS3," says a statement from the company. "We will continue to try to change that, and would release it if we are permitted."
