'American Reunion' Coming to Blu-ray in July[teaser]Laugh all over again with the American Pie gang July 10th.[/teaser] It was summer 1999 when four small-town Michigan boys embarked on a quest to lose their virginity. In the years that have passed, Jim (Jason Biggs,'Mad Love') and Michelle (Alyson Hannigan, 'How I Met Your Mother') got married while Stifler (Seann William Scott, Role Models) still refuses to grow up. Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas, Please Give) and Vicky (Tara Reid, 'Scrubs') said goodbye, while Oz (Chris Klein, American Dreamz) and Heather (Mena Suvari, 'American Horror Story') grew apart. Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas, 'How to Make It in America') still longs for Stifler’s mom (Jennifer Coolidge, 'Legally Blonde'), and Jim’s dad (Eugene Levy, 'Best in Show') is learning to date. 'American Reunion' has a suggested retail price of $34.98. This release will be a Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack which will also include a UltraViolet Digital Copy. There will also be an unrated version of the movie included along with the theatrical release. Technical specs have yet to be released, but we do know about a wealth of extras that will be included on the set along with numerous Blu-ray exclusives. 'Evan Almighty' on Blu-ray in August[teaser]Universal re-issues 'Evan Almighty' for a Blu-ray release on August 7.[/teaser] Universal is celebrating its 100th anniversary by re-issuing some catalog titles and someone picked 'Evan Almighty' as one of the deserving titles. For those of you who forgot, 'Evan Almighty' is the sequel to 'Bruce Almighty,' where Evan Baxter (Carell) is contacted by God (Freeman) to build an ark for an impending flood. Up until now, 'Evan Almighty' has only been available on HD DVD and import Blu-ray. So, any die-hard fans looking to get their hands on a domestic copy, this release is for you. The release will feature a 2.39:1 aspect ratio and a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound track. It will also feature at least four Behind-the-Scenes featurettes as special features. 'Accident' on Blu-ray in June[teaser]Shout! Factory delivers the thriller 'Accident' on Blu-ray June 12.[/teaser] In 'Accident,' self-styled accident choreographer, Brain (Louis Koo, in one of the most compelling performances of his career) is a professional hit man who kills his victims by trapping them in well crafted accidents that look like unfortunate mishaps but are in fact perfectly staged acts of crime. 'Peter Gabriel: Secret World Live' on Blu-ray in July[teaser]All you Peter Gabriel fans get ready for some 'Secret World Live' on July 2.[/teaser] Eagle Rock Home Entertainment will be releasing 'Peter Gabriel: Secret World Live' on July 2, 2012. This documentary of Gabriel's 1993 concerts in Modena, Italy won a Grammy. It's basically everything Gabriel fans were hoping for. As discussed on Gabriel's official site, this concert has undergone extensive restoration work. You can read all about it here. Eagle Rock has restored the concert footage to HD quality. Using the old 16mm negatives they were able to create a new master for the concert footage. There is no word yet on the technical specifications of this release, like what kind of audio presentation we can be expecting. Suggested retail prices has been set at $19.98.
