[/teaser] On September 17, Arrow is set to release Wes Craven's The Hills Have Eyes: Part 2 and Alan Lado's classic giallo, Who Saw Her Die?. After a violent confrontation, Frank is haunted by visions of an angelic young girl holding a giant egg, herself a refugee from another world altogether. Could the egg be the key to saving both their worlds? The film is set to hit theaters on November 1, 2019. Linda Hamilton (“Sarah Connor”) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (“T-800”) return in their iconic roles in Terminator: Dark Fate, directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and produced by visionary filmmaker James Cameron and David Ellison. Following the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator: Dark Fate also stars Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta. Check out the new trailer below! Terminator: Dark Fate will be the sixth entry in the Terminator franchise, following the release of The Terminator (1984), Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991), Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003), Terminator Salvation (2009), and Terminator Genisys (2015). Final JOKER Trailer Teases Gritty Character Study of Iconic Villain[teaser]"Send in the clowns..."[/teaser] Warner Bros. has released the final trailer for Joker, offering an expanded look at the film's story and Joaquin Phoenix's creepy transformation into the infamous Batman villain. The film is set to hit theaters on October 4, 2019. Director Todd Phillips' Joker centers around the iconic arch nemesis and is an original, standalone fictional story not seen before on the big screen. Phillips’ exploration of Arthur Fleck, who is indelibly portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix, is of a man struggling to find his way in Gotham's fractured society. A clown-for-hire by day, he aspires to be a stand-up comic at night…but finds the joke always seems to be on him. Caught in a cyclical existence between apathy and cruelty, Arthur makes one bad decision that brings about a chain reaction of escalating events in this gritty character study. Check out the final trailer below! In addition to Phoenix, the movie stars Zazie Beetz, Robert De Niro, Shea Whigham, Frances Conroy, Bill Camp, Marc Maron, and Brett Cullen. Director Todd Phillips also co-wrote the script with Scott Silver (The Fighter). Though based on the DC comic book character of the same name, Joker does not appear to be set in the same cinematic universe as Warner Brothers' other recent DC films like Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Wonder Woman, Suicide Squad, Justice League, Aquaman, and Shazam -- which already feature a different version of the Joker played by Jared Leto. Likewise, while the movie is set in Gotham and the Wayne family is featured in the film, the character of Batman is not expected to make an appearance. Other upcoming DC films include Cathy Yan's Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) which will premiere on February 7, 2020, and Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman 1984 which will premiere on June 5, 2020. Likewise, a Suicide Squad sequel/reboot from writer/director James Gunn, an Aquaman sequel, a new Batman film, and a Flash movie are also all in development. Source: Warner Bros. Marvel Studios Reportedly Loses Rights to Use Spider-Man in the MCU[teaser]It's looking like Marvel's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man won't be hanging out with The Avengers on the big screen anymore.[/teaser] According to a report by Deadline, Disney and Sony will no longer be collaborating on future Spider-Man films. The two companies previously had a deal in place that allowed the character to appear in Disney's MCU films and gave Marvel Studios' head, Kevin Feige, creative input on the character's big screen adventures. The partnership was reportedly terminated when both parties became unable to agree on new financial terms. Per Deadline's sources, Disney wanted a 50/50 co-financing arrangement with Sony on new Spider-Man movies going forward. Likewise, they also hoped to expand their involvement into other Spider-Man spin-off titles like Venom. Sony apparently turned down the offer and instead proposed keeping the previous terms in place -- which would have seen Marvel continue to receive around 5% of first dollar gross -- but Disney turned that down. Though Spider-Man is a Marvel comics property, Sony has held the film rights to the character for many years. In 2016, the studios struck a deal that allowed Marvel and Kevin Feige to help develop a new big screen version of the character that could appear in solo films for Sony and team-up movies for Disney all within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Under that deal, Feige went on to serve as a producer on Sony's Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Sony is still planning to develop new Spider-Man movies with current star Tom Holland and director Jon Watts, but if the studio's partnership with Disney really is over, Feige and Marvel will no longer have any substantial creative input and the character will no longer appear in MCU movies. Disney and Sony have yet to officially comment on the news. Source: DeadlinePosted Tue Aug 20, 2019 at 02:15 PM PDT by: -

Photographed in luscious monochrome and suffused with the melancholy of the simple folk song that provides a motif for the couple’s fateful affair, Pawel Pawlikowski’s timeless story—inspired by that of his own parents—is a heart-stoppingly grand vision of star-crossed love caught up in the tide of history. New 4K digital master, supervised and approved by director Paweł Pawlikowski and director of photography Łukasz Żal, with 5.1 surround DTS-HD Master Audio Soundtrack on the Blu-ray New conversation between Pawlikowski and filmmaker Alejandro G. But as the increasingly erratic Betty’s grip on reality begins to falter, Zorg finds himself willing to do things he never expected to protect both her fragile sanity and their tenuous existence. Adapted from the hit novel 37°2 le matin by Philippe Djian, Jean-Jacques Beineix’s art-house smash—presented here in its extended director’s cut—is a sexy, crazy, careening joyride of a romance that burns with the passion and beyond-all-reason fervor of all-consuming love. High-definition digital restoration, approved by director Jean-Jacques Beineix, with uncompressed monaural soundtrack on the Blu-ray Blue Notes and Bungalows, a sixty-minute documentary from 2013 featuring Beineix, actors Jean-Hugues Anglade and Béatrice Dalle, associate producer Claudie Ossard, cinematographer Jean-François Robin, and composer Gabriel Yared Making of “Betty Blue,” a short video featuring Beineix and author Philippe Djian Le chien de Monsieur Michel, a short film by Beineix from 1977 French television interview from 1986 with Beineix and Dalle Dalle screen test Trailers New English subtitle translation PLUS: An essay by critic Chelsea Phillips-Carr Order the Blu-ray Now, Voyager (November 26) - Nervous spinster Charlotte Vale (Bette Davis) is stunted from growing up under the heel of her puritanical Boston Brahmin mother (Gladys Cooper), and remains convinced of her own unworthiness until a kindly psychiatrist (Claude Rains) gives her the confidence to venture out into the world on a South American cruise. Onboard, she finds her footing with the help of an unhappily married man (Paul Henreid). Their thwarted love affair may help Charlotte break free of her mother’s grip—but will she find fulfillment as well as independence? Made at the height of Davis’s reign as the queen of the women’s picture and bolstered by an Oscar-winning Max Steiner score, Now, Voyager is a melodrama for the ages, both a rapturous Hollywood romance and a poignant saga of self-discovery. Mankiewicz’s devastatingly witty Hollywood classic, backstage is where the real drama plays out. One night, Margo Channing (Bette Davis) entertains a surprise dressing-room visitor: her most adoring fan, the shy, wide-eyed Eve Harrington (Anne Baxter). But as Eve becomes a fixture in Margo’s life, the Broadway legend soon realizes that her supposed admirer intends to use her and everyone in her circle, including George Sanders’s acid-tongued critic, as stepping-stones to stardom. Featuring stiletto-sharp dialogue and direction by Mankiewicz, and an unforgettable Davis in the role that revived her career and came to define it, the multiple-Oscar-winning All About Eve is the most deliciously entertaining film ever made about the ruthlessness of show business. 4K digital restoration, with uncompressed monaural soundtrack on the Blu-ray Two audio commentaries from 2010, one featuring actor Celeste Holm, director Joseph L.
