[/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Disney/Buena Vista is preparing 'Princess Diaries 2 Movie Collection' for Blu-ray on May 15. 'The Princess Diaries' - A socially awkward but very bright 15-year-old girl being raised by a single mom discovers that she is the princess of a small European country because of the recent death of her long-absent father, who, unknown to her, was the crown prince of Genovia. She must make a choice between continuing the life of a San Francisco teen or stepping up to the throne. While Mia makes up her mind, she's pressed into taking princess lessons from her grandmother. 'The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement' - Now settled in Genovia, Princess Mia faces a new revelation: she's being primed for an arranged marriage to a English suitor. 'Lethal Weapon Collection' Dated for Blu-ray![teaser]A boxed set of all four films is coming stateside to Blu-ray in June! [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Brothers is planning a new 'Lethal Weapon Collection' for Blu-ray on June 12. The box set will include all four films remastered in high-definition with loads of content including audio commentaries, featurettes, deleted and extended scenes, and trailers. Also included will be an exclusive fifth disc with over 2 hours of never-before-seen new material including: Psycho Pension: The Genesis of Lethal Weapon Lethal Weapon and the Hollywood Monster It Created, A Family Affair: Bringing Lethal Weapon to Life, Pulling the Trigger: Expanding the World of Lethal Weapon, and Maximum Impact: The Legacy of Lethal Weapon. 'Black Butler' Blu-rays Announced[teaser]The first two seasons of the fantasy anime series is planned for Blu-ray in April.[/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, FUNimation will be releasing 'Black Butler: Complete First Season' and 'Black Butler: Complete Second Season' on Blu-ray on April 3. 'The Wicker Tree' Dated and Detailed for Blu-ray[teaser]Robin Hardy's highly anticipated horror film takes root on Blu-ray in April. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Starz/Anchor Bay is prepping 'The Wicker Tree' for Blu-ray on April 24. Set in the same universe as the 1973 cult classic 'The Wicker Man' starring Christopher Lee and Edward Woodward, the film is written and directed by the original helmer, Robin Hardy, who also reunited with the original producer Peter Snell and venerable UK production company British Lion to bring a chilling new vision of this classic story to 21st century audiences, after a theatrical run. Based on Hardy’s acclaimed 2006 novel “Cowboys for Christ,” 'The Wicker Tree' tells the story of Texas-based singer Beth Boothby (newcomer Brittania Nicol) and her friend Steve Thomson (Henry Garrett, “The Bill,” “Skins”), two born-again Christians who come to Scotland to spread the gospel. When their initial efforts are met with disdain and disinterest, they find comfort in an invitation to sing in Tressock, the border fiefdom owned by Sir Lachlan Morrison (Graham McTavish, 'Rambo,' the upcoming 'The Hobbit' films). However, Beth’s and Steve’s message of personal chastity quickly comes into direct conflict with Tressock’s sexual and religious practices, drawing upon ancient Celtic beliefs and rituals.
