'The Great Gatsby' Dated for Blu-ray[teaser]Jack Clayton's 1974 take on the classic tale starring Robert Redford and Mia Farrow is planned for Blu-ray this April. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Brothers says 'The Great Gatsby' is getting a Blu-ray release on April 23. The '20s never roared louder than in the sumptuously romantic retelling of F. Scott Fitzgerald's Jazz Age classic. Redford stars as Jay Gatsby, who had once loved beautiful, spoiled Daisy Buchanan (Farrow), then lost her to a rich boy. But now Gatsby is mysteriously wealthy and ready to risk everything to woo Daisy back.
