[/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Disney is preparing 'The Nightmare Before Christmas: 20th Anniversary Edition' for Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D on September 10. Bored with the same old scare-and-scream routine, Pumpkin King Jack Skellington longs to spread the joy of Christmas. But his merry mission puts Santa in jeopardy and creates a nightmare for good little boys and girls everywhere! Featuring the vocal talents of Chris Sarandon ('The Princess Bride') as Jack Skellington's speaking voice, Danny Elfman ('Simpsons') as Jack Skellington's singing voice & Catherine O’Hara ('Home Alone') as Sally. Directed by Henry Selick ('Coraline,' 'James and the Giant Peach') and produced by Tim Burton ('Edward Scissorhands,' 'Corpse Bride'). Supplements have not been announced yet, but the Blu-ray will feature 1080p video and a Dolby TrueHD 7.1 soundtrack. 'Vehicle 19' Blu-ray Announced[teaser]Paul Walker will race against police corruption in this thriller steering toward Blu-ray in July. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Ketchup Entertainment is preparing 'Vehicle 19' for Blu-ray on July 23. A recently paroled man unwittingly picks up the wrong rental vehicle after a long flight. He soon realizes that he is the target of an entire police force that will use any means necessary to stop him and the tied-up female "passenger" he discovers in the trunk from getting to the courthouse to testify against their city’s top-to-bottom corruption. Written and directed by Mukunda Michael Dewil and starring Paul Walker. Supplements have not yet been announced, but the Blu-ray will feature 1080p video and a DTS-HD MA 5.1 soundtrack. 'Day of the Dead: Collector's Edition' Blu-ray Features Detailed[teaser]Features have been revealed for the Collector's Edition of the cult George A. Romero horror film coming to Blu-ray in September. [/teaser] As previously reported, Scream Factory will release 'Day of the Dead: Collector's Edition' on Blu-ray on September 17. The concluding part of George A. Romero's cult horror trilogy opens with the undead roaming the planet freely. The living have been forced underground, where they make their base in a hidden missile depot, helping with the experiments of scientist Doctor Logan (Liberty), who hopes to domesticate the zombies. However, the military faction of the human survivors favour a more direct approach, and with food stocks becoming ever more depleted, they decide to take action. What folllows is the final showdown between the forces of the living and the armies of the dead. When a driverless carriage arrives they board it, intending to travel to the nearest village.
