'Surviving Christmas' Dated for Blu-ray[teaser]The 2004 holiday comedy will climb down Blu-ray's chimney in November. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Brothers says 'Surviving Christmas' will be available on Blu-ray on November 5. Drew Latham (Ben Affleck) doesn't want to spend another lonely Christmas. Longing for holidays past, he travels to his childhood home only to find that his family no longer lives there. Instead of continuing his search, Drew offers the Valco patriarch Tom (James Gandolfini) and his wife Christine (Catherine O'Hara) $250,000 if they agree to pretend to be his parents. What's more, he wants them to treat him as if he's a cherished member of the family. As the Valcos reluctantly agree to Drew's every request, Alicia (Christina Applegate), their eldest daughter, arrives home and refuses to comply with her irritating new brother's wishes.
