'The Karate Kid' Blu-ray Detailed[teaser]Full details are now in for the 2010 remake heading to high-definition this October! [/teaser] As previously reported, Sony has slated 'The Karate Kid,' starring Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan, for Blu-ray release on October 5. The film has been receiving generally favorable reviews and currently holds a 68% "fresh" rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Chinese Lessons - Learn Chinese!; Music Video: Justin Bieber Featuring Jaden Smith "Never Say Never"; and Just for Kicks: The Making of The Karate Kid. [/teaser] Warner Brothers is preparing 'DC Showcase: Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam' for Blu-ray on November 9. Joining the all-new title short will be 'The Spectre' (from 'Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths'), 'Jonah Hex' (from 'Batman: Under the Red Hood'), and 'Green Arrow' (included with 'Superman/Batman: Apocalypse') now in extended versions.
