'Sound of My Voice' Blu-ray Announced and Detailed[teaser]Zal Batmanglij's cult investigation is bound for Blu-ray in October. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, 20th Century Fox says 'Sound of My Voice' is coming to Blu-ray on October 2. A filmmaker (Christopher Denham, Shutter Island) and his girlfriend (Nicole Vicius, [500] Days of Summer) set out to expose the beautiful leader of a cult (Brit Marling, Another Earth), who claims to be from the future. But the more they explore, the more danger they face. The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: The Making of The Sound of My Voice featurette; Maggie featurettes; theatrical trailer; and Blu-ray exclusive Direct Effect: Director Zal Batmanglij and Writer's Draft: Writer/Actress Brit Marling. 'Dark Shadows' Announced and Detailed for Blu-ray[teaser]Tim Burton's reimagining of the classic vampire soap opera will sink its teeth into Blu-ray just in time for Halloween! 1946 and 1981 Versions of 'The Postman Always Rings Twice' Dated for Blu-ray[teaser]This November both the original 1946 film and the 1981 remake will arrive on Blu-ray. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Brothers will be releasing 'The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946)' and 'The Postman Always Rings Twice (1981)' on Blu-ray on November 13. Both crime dramas tell the story of a married woman and a drifter who have an affair and then plot to murder her husband. Tay Garnett's 1946 classic features Lana Turner and John Garfield, while Jack Nicholson and Jessica Lange star in Bob Rafelson's 1981 adaptation of the James M Cain novel. Specs and supplements haven't been revealed yet, and the suggested list price for each Blu-ray will be $19.98. 'Les Vampires (1915)' Announced for Blu-ray[teaser]Louis Feuillade's 1915 10-part crime drama is in the works for Blu-ray in August. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Kino will be releasing 'Les Vampires (1915)' on Blu-ray on August 14. Comprised of ten episodes, and clocking in at nearly seven hours in duration, 'Les Vampires' follows journalist Philippe Guerande (Edouard Mathe) in his efforts to expose a vast criminal organization known as the Vampires. Joined by a comical sidekick, Mazamette (Marcel Levesque), and often competing against a rival gang lord (Fernand Herrmann), Guerande dethrones a succession of the Vampires' Grand Masters. But most evasive of all is the Vampires' muse, a seductive assassin who performs her job with deadly grace: Irma Vep.
