Eli Roth's 'The Green Inferno' Bound for Blu-ray[teaser]The cannibalistic horror flick will devour Blu-ray early next year. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Universal will be releasing 'The Green Inferno' on Blu-ray on January 5. New York college student Justine (Lorenza Izzo), a lawyer's daughter, meets a student activist named Alejandro (Ariel Levy) when he goes on a hunger strike on behalf of underpaid janitors. Smitten, Justine agrees to help Alejandro undertake his next project: to save the Amazon. 'Zoolander' (Wal-mart Exclusive Steelbook) Blu-ray Announced[teaser]Ben Stiller's comedy is getting a really, really, really cool Blu-ray edition next month. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount is set to release 'Zoolander (Wal-mart Exclusive Steelbook)' on Blu-ray exclusively at Wal-Mart stores on December 1. This Blu-ray Steelbook edition will include new hilarious footage of Owen Wilson and Justin Theroux rehearsing the epic breakdance fight under the direction of Ben Stiller and an alternate version of the brainwashing sequence told through storyboards. Kill Game begins as a group of good-looking, shallow high school teens amuse themselves by pulling pranks on less popular classmates and teachers. However the teasing is not so harmless when one night, a prank goes horribly wrong and an innocent boy is killed. Covering their tracks by masking the incident as a drowning accident, the group lives with the horrible secret for years, never realizing that their actions will soon haunt them, with deadly results. Five years later, they are shocked when one of them is murdered by a sinister serial killer donning a frightening mask. Blu-ray is Gonna Have 'Nightmares' This Winter[teaser]The 1983 horror anthology will make its Blu-ray debut in December. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Scream Factory will be releasing 'Nightmares' on Blu-ray on December 22. A pack of cigarettes, a video game, a pick-up truck and a stately colonial home all become key elements in four terrifying tales of terror in the anthology film, Nightmares, directed by Joseph Sargent (The Taking of Pelham One Two Three, White Lightning). A chain-smoking homemaker (Cristina Raines, The Sentinel) insists on going out for cigarettes even when an escaped madman is on the loose in "Terror in Topanga." J.J. Cooney (Emilio Estevez, Young Guns), a video game hot-shot, dares to take on a strange challenger – though it may cost him his life – in "The Bishop of Battle." A troubled priest (Lance Henriksen, Aliens) seeks to find the faith he has lost on the road, but instead he finds someone (or something) in this desert is trying to drive him out of his mind in "The Benediction." Claire (Veronica Cartwright, Alien) hears rats in the walls. Her husband (Richard Masur, The Thing) believes he can take care of the problem with a few rat traps, but this problem is only going to get much bigger in "Night of the Rat."
