X-Men Unite! 'X-Men: Apocalypse' Dated for Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray[teaser]Bryan Singer's mutant-filled blockbuster will arrive on all three formats in October. [/teaser] As previously reported, 20th Century Fox will be releasing 'X-Men: Apocalypse' on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray later this fall, and now the date has been set for October 4. OSCAR® Winner Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy lead a powerhouse cast in director Bryan Singer’s extraordinary follow-up to X-Men: Days of Future Past. After thousands of years, Apocalypse – the world’s first and most powerful mutant – has awakened to find a world led by humans. Intent on cleansing the Earth of mankind, he recruits a group of mutants to create a new world order. In a desperate race to save humanity, Professor X (McAvoy) leads the young X-Men in an epic showdown – against an unstoppable enemy – that will determine the fate of the world. They finished every scene...except one; the film's explosive airplane set piece. Over two decades later, the trio reunited with the original cast members from their childhood in order to complete their masterpiece. 'The Exotic Dances of Bettie Page: 25th Anniversary Edition' Blu-ray Announced and Supplements Detailed[teaser]Christmas comes early for Bettie Page fans this September. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Cult Epics says 'The Exotic Dances of Bettie Page: 25th Anniversary Edition' will be available on Blu-ray on September 13. Bettie Page, pin-up model of the 1950s, cult model of the 80s and 90s, gained mainstream recognition in the last few years of her life when she was immortalized in three major film productions, the first being Nico B's Bettie Page: Dark Angel (a homage to the lost bondage films.) Irving Klaw, King of the Pin-ups, directed these short films and they where the first the young Bettie performed in on celluloid. These films have now been transferred from original 8mm reels in a new High-definition transfer, including rare bonus Bettie Page Kamera Club films.
