Coming to Blu-ray this April in 'Notorious'[teaser]The Biggie biopic 'Notorious' is headed to Blu-ray, with Fox setting a late-April date for the musical drama.[/teaser] Profiling the life and times of the late rap mogul Notorious B.I.G., 'Notorious' will receive its Blu-ray debut on April 21, day-and-date with the standard DVD. Tech specs will enjoy a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and an English DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround soundtrack. The studio has yet to reveal any bonus features, though it is listed as a two-disc set. Fox Double Dips 'Dodgeball' with Rated Blu-ray[teaser]In a rare double dip for the studio, Fox has announced it will re-issue 'Dodgeball' on Blu-ray this May in a "Rated" version.[/teaser] The $100 million-grossing Ben Stiller hit, which Fox previously released on Blu-ray in 2007 in its unrated form, will debut a separate stand-alone version on May 12, featuring the film's PG-13 theatrical cut. Only basic tech specs have been confirmed, including 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and an English DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround soundtrack. 'My Bloody Valentine' Blu-ray Gets Specs, 3-D[teaser]Lionsgate has unveiled the terrifying specs for 'My Bloody Valentine,' which will slice its way to Blu-ray this May in both 2-D and 3-D versions.[/teaser] As previously reported, early retailer signs pointed to a May debut for the hit slasher remake, and now Lionsgate has confirmed a May 19 Blu-ray release (day-and-date with the standard DVD) and full specs. Presented in both 2-D and 3-D versions (with four pairs of glasses included) on a BD-50 dual-layer disc, tech specs will see 1080p video and a DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio soundtrack. 'Last Chance Harvey' to Get Another Chance on Blu-ray[teaser]It didn't get much of a chance in theaters, but 'Last Chance Harvey' will get another shot when Anchor Bay releases the Blu-ray in early-May.[/teaser] Starring Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson in a quirky tale of finding love late in life, 'Last Chance Harvey' will receive a Blu-ray release on May 5, day-and-date with the DVD. 'Slumdog Millionaire' Announced for Blu-ray[teaser]This year's Best Picture has gotten a Blu-ray release date, with Fox announcing a late-March high-def arrival for 'Slumdog Millionaire.'[/teaser] The worldwide sensation, which went from almost-unreleased indie darling to a $250 million-grossing, eight Academy Award-winning underdog, has been confirmed for a March 31 Blu-ray release (day-and-date with the standard DVD). Coming fully loaded with hours of extras, bonus features include a pair of audio commentaries (with director Danny Boyle and actor Dev Patel, and a second with producer Christian Colson and screenwriter Simon Beaufoy), three featurettes ("Slumdog Dreams: Danny Boyle & The Making of Slumdog Millionaire," "From Script To Screen: Toilet Scene," "Slumdog Cutdown"), deleted scenes, a music video, and the Indian short film "Manjha."
