Report: 'Terminator: Salvation' Blu-ray to Get 30 Minutes of Deleted Scenes[teaser]Fans of the upcoming 'Terminator: Salvation' will be seeing a lot more of the film when it hits high-def, with director McG revealing details on planned bonus materials for the in-the-works Blu-ray release of the sci-fi sequel.[/teaser] As first reported by the site Collider, the 'Salvation' helmer talked extensively about the upcoming, highly-anticipated sequel in a video interview, in advance of its theatrical release later this month. MCG spoke at length about plans to include 30 to 40 minutes of deleted material not in the theatrical version, among them extensive subplots involving hero John Connor, as well as an alternate ending. The director did not reveal if the material would be re-integrated into the film as a new, longer cut, or only be provided as supplements. (You can check out the complete video interview via the link below, though be forewarned that it includes clips of many scenes not included in the film's trailer as well as other plot specifics, so spoiler potential is high.) As 'Terminator: Salvation' has yet to even hit theaters, Warner has of course not officially revealed any of its potential future plans for the film on Blu-ray. As always, we'll keep you updated as any official news comes in. In the meantime, we've added a listing for 'Terminator: Salvation' to the "Release Dates Pending" section of our Blu-ray Release Schedule. Watch this space!Posted Mon May 11, 2009 at 11:30 AM PDT by:
