Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced it will bring the Harrison Ford-Brad Pitt thriller 'The Devil's Own' to Blu-ray this May.
Directed by the late Alan J. Pakula, 'The Devil's Own' earned over $140 million at the worldwide box office during its original 1997 theatrical run. Long one of the studio's biggest catalog sellers on standard DVD, Sony will issue the Blu-ray version on May 6.
Early specs include 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio in English and French (Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround dubs in Spanish and Portuguese are also provided).
There were no supplemental details available at press time but we'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail for the Blu-ray has been set at $28.95.
