Buddy Christ fans, mark your calendars: Sony has announced Kevin Smith's controversial satire 'Dogma' for Blu-ray this March.
Inspiring critical hosannas and moral outrage in equal measure upon its original 1998 theatrical release, 'Dogma' remains Smith's high-grossing film ever, earning over $30 million at the domestic box office. High-def fans wondering what all the fuss is about will get the chance to find out on March 11, 2008, when Sony debuts the Ben Affleck-Matt Damon starrer on Blu-ray disc.
The studio has not yet announced tech specs or supplemental details for 'Dogma,' but given that all of Smith's past disc releases have been chock full of extras, we're optimistic that this one won't be the exception. Stay tuned for complete specs in the coming days.
Suggested retail for the Blu-ray has been set at $28.99.
