Fox has issued Blu-ray release dates for a blitzkrieg of war-themed titles due this Father's Day, including the classics 'Patton,' 'The Sand Pebbles' and 'The Longest Day.'
Fox first revealed plans to release the three titles as part of a joint Father's Day promo last month, but stopped short of issuing an exact street date. The studio has now issued a retail announcement for 'The Longest Day,' 'The Sand Pebbles' and the Oscar-winning 'Patton,' all of which will debut on Blu-ray on June 3rd.
Tech specs are consistent across the three titles, with each receiving 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video, remastered English DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround audio, and additional English, French and Spanish Dolby Digital and subtitle options.
There are no supplemental details available as of yet, but the full media announcement is due in the coming weeks, so we'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail for each title has been set at $39.95.
