Jason Schwartzman's hit comedy series is gearing up for Blu-ray this September.
HBO is working on 'Bored to Death: The Complete First Season' also starring Ted Danson and Zach Galifianakis for a high-definition release on September 14.
The series is about a struggling Brooklyn novelist who decides to become a private detective following a painful relationship breakup.
The 3-disc Blu-ray set will feature 1080p (1.78:1) video, an English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Making of Bored to Death: Go behind-the-scenes of the HBO noir-otic comedy series Bored to Death. Features interviews with the cast and crew as well as Jonathan Ames introducing the main characters of the series; Jonathan Ames's Brooklyn: Brooklyn's neighborhoods each have their own distinct personality and are a huge part of Bored to Death. Travel into Brooklyn and inside the mind of Jonathan Ames, on a guided tour with Jonathan and Jason Schwartzman to set locations of the first season of the series; deleted scenes; and four audio commentaries with cast and crew including Jonathan Ames, Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson and more.
Suggested list price for this set will be $49.99.
