The 2001-2002 season featuring the planet's favorite animated family will receive the high-definition treatment this August.
In an early announcement to retailers, it seems 20th Century Fox is prepping 'The Simpsons: The Complete Thirteenth Season' for a Blu-ray bow on August 24.
The 3-disc set looks to have 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack, and it appears that all 22 episodes will feature an audio commentary.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray set is still unknown at this time.
