Plot Sypnosis:

In the foothills of the Pyrenees, a Gypsy dancer (Leni Riefenstahl) would find herself the fulcrum between a poor shepherd (Franz Eichberger) that loves her and a greedy land baron (Bernhard Minetti) who covets her. Riefenstahl's take on the Eugen d'Albert opera, her last completed feature as director and actor, had a drawn-out and controversial production spanning the WWII years and only completed after the French returned the confiscated footage. 98 min.
