'Conan the Barbarian' & 'Conan the Destroyer' Blu-rays Announced[teaser]A double dose of a sweaty, well-greased Arnold Schwarzenegger is coming to Blu-ray this August. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Universal is working on 'Conan the Barbarian' and 'Conan the Destroyer' for Blu-ray on August 2. The catalog releases will arrive just in time to gear up for the theatrical release of Marcus Nispel's 2011 remake starring Jason Momoa, Rose McGowan, and Ron Perlman. Although most specs and supplements still have yet to be finalized, 'Conan the Barbarian' will have the extended cut of the film and supplements will include: Exclusive U-Control Picture-in-Picture Experience, All New Cast and Crew Interviews, Exclusive First Look: Conan the Barbarian (2011), Conan Unchained: The Making of Conan, A Comprehensive Study of Robert E. 'Spy Kids,' 'Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams,' and 'Spy Kids 3: Game Over' Announced for Blu-ray[teaser]Gear up for 'Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World - 3D' hitting theaters this summer with the first three films in the family franchise coming to Blu-ray this August! 'Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe' Blu-ray Details Emerge[teaser]Details have been revealed for Bruce Campbell's triumphant return to Blu-ray this July. Vizio Ramps Up Passive 3D Set Production[teaser]The company sees passive tech as the future, citing issues and expense associated with active shutter technology. The current debate between active and passive technologies has fans and TV makers taking sides and Vizio has taken theirs. "Growing sales continue to show that consumers want a high-quality theater-style 3D experience without flicker and the inconveniences of cumbersome, expensive eyewear," says chief sales officer Randy Winick. "Positive press from industry experts and feedback from Hollywood strengthens our confidence as well."
