'Red Scorpion' Announced and Detailed for Blu-ray[teaser]Joseph Zito's 1988 actioner starring Dolph Lundgren will explode on Blu-ray in June. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Synapse Films has revealed 'Red Scorpion' will be hitting Blu-ray on March 13. Lundgren stars as a Russian KGB agent is sent to Africa to kill an anti-Communist black revolutionary. However, he has a change of heart when he sees how the Russians and their Cuban allies are killing and repressing the locals, so he switches sides and helps the rebels. 'The Turin Horse' Blu-ray Announced[teaser]The acclaimed film from Hungarian directors Béla Tarr and Ágnes Hranitzky has been slated for a July Blu-ray release. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Cinema Guild says 'The Turin Horse' is planned for Blu-ray on July 17. The film was the winner of the FIPRESCI Prize and Silver Bear Award at the 2011 Berlin International Film Festival. On January 3, 1889 in Turin, Italy, Friedrich Nietzsche steps out of the doorway of number six, Via Carlo Albert. Not far from him, a cab driver is having trouble with a stubborn horse. The horse refuses to move, whereupon the driver hoses his patience and takes his whip to it. Nietzsche puts an end to the brutal scene, throwing his arms around the horse's neck, sobbing. After this, he lies motionless and silent for two days on a divan, until he loses consciousness and his mind. Somewhere in the countryside, the driver of the cab lives with his daughter and the horse. Outside, a windstorm rages.
