'Silver Linings Playbook' Blu-ray Detailed[teaser]David O. Russell's Academy Award winning romantic dramedy is dancing its way to Blu-ray in April. 'Doctor Who: Series Seven, Part Two' Blu-ray Announced[teaser]More wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey adventures are coming to Blu-ray in May. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, BBC Home Entertainment is preparing 'Doctor Who: Series Seven, Part Two ' for Blu-ray on May 28. The Doctor kicks off this new run of adventures by searching for his companion Clara – an Impossible Girl he’s already lost twice. Together they find themselves battling monsters on distant alien planets, trapped in a Russian submarine with a deadly passenger, chasing terrifying ghosts, delving into the heart of the TARDIS, facing the Crimson Horror in Victorian Yorkshire, and coming face to face with an army of upgraded Cybermen. The action grows and the Doctor's oldest secret threatens to be revealed as the world's longest running sci-fi series builds toward its explosive 50th anniversary in November of 2013. 'Beautiful Creatures' Blu-ray Announced[teaser]The PG-13 fantasy based on the popular young adult novel will cast a spell on Blu-ray in May. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Brothers says 'Beautiful Creatures' is coming to high-definition on May 21. When newcomer Lena Duchannes arrives in the small town of Gatlin, she quickly captures the attention of Ethan Wate, who only wants to escape what he views as a boring and dead end town. He quickly gets more than he bargained for, though. Lena possesses strange powers that have long kept her at a distance from others in her life. 'Thale' Announced for Blu-ray[teaser]The Norwegian fantasy from writer/director Aleksander Nordaas is getting the Blu-ray treatment next month. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, XLrator Media will bring 'Thale' to Blu-ray on April 23. Two crime-scene cleaners discover a mythical, tailed female huldra (in Nordic folklore, a seductive forest siren with a cow tail) in a concealed cellar during a particularly gruesome job.
