'The Grandmaster' Blu-ray Dated[teaser]Wong Kar Wai's epic historical action film heads to Blu-ray in November. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Starz/Anchor Bay has set 'The Grandmaster' on Blu-ray for November 26. Inspired by the life and times of the legendary Kung FU master, Ip Man (who mentored Bruce Lee), the story spans the tumultuous Republican era that followed the fall of China's last dynasty, a time of chaos, division and war that was also the golden age of Chinese martial arts. Filmed in a range of stunning locations that include the snow-swept landscapes of Northeast China and the subtropical South, The Grandmaster features virtuoso performances by some of the greatest stars of contemporary Asian cinema. Specs haven't been revealed yet, but supplements will include: The Grandmaster: From Ip Man to Bruce Lee, A Conversation with Shannon Lee, Daughter of Bruce Lee, Behind the Scenes Featurette, and The Grandmaster According to RZA. Four years ago, impassioned young outlaw couple Bob Muldoon (Affleck) and Ruth Guthrie (Mara) were apprehended in the Texas hills during a shootout that left a local officer wounded by a bullet from Ruth's gun. Taking the blame, Bob was sentenced to 25 years in prison. 'On the Riviera' Blu-ray Announced and Features Added[teaser]Walter Lang's Academy Award-nominated 1951 musical is bound for Blu-ray next month.
