'Prince Avalanche' Blu-ray Announced[teaser]David Gordon Green's buddy comedy will hit Blu-ray in November. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Magnolia has slated 'Prince Avalanche' for Blu-ray on November 12. An odd couple of sorts, introspective and stern Alvin (Paul Rudd) and his girlfriend’s brother, Lance (Emile Hirsch), dopey and insecure, leave the city behind to spend the summer of 1988 repainting traffic lines on a desolate country highway that’s been ravaged by wildfire. The men bicker and joke with each other, eventually developing an unlikely friendship. Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements will include: XS TV: A Look at Prince Avalanche and Original Theatrical Trailer. Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $29.98. 'Adore' Blu-ray Dated[teaser]Anne Fontaine's drama also known as 'Perfect Mothers' is bound for Blu-ray in December. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount has revealed they are working on 'Adore' for Blu-ray on December 10. Set in an Australian seaside town of otherworldly beauty, 'Adore' follows two women's plunge into uncharted waters as they explore the intricacies of love, family, morality and passion. Watts and Wright deliver riveting performances as two life-long friends who become romantically involved with each other's sons. The film also stars Xavier Samuel ('The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,' 'The Loved Ones') and James Frecheville ('Animal Kingdom'). 'Adore' is based on a novel by Nobel Prize for Literature winner Doris Lessing. 'Force of Execution' Blu-ray Announced[teaser]The Force will be strong with Steven Seagal this December. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Starz/Anchor Bay says 'Force of Execution' is coming to high-definition on December 17. In the film directed by Keoni Waxman and written by Richard Beattie & Michael Black, Steven Seagal stars as mob kingpin Mr. Alexander, an old-school boss who rules his criminal empire with both nobility and brutality. For a simple prison hit, he sends his best enforcer and protégé Roman Hurst (Bren Foster).
