'Her' Announced for Blu-ray[teaser]Spike Jonze's Oscar-winning film for best screenplay is planned for Blu-ray in May. You can pre-order it here. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, Warner Brothers says 'Her' is coming to high-definition on May 13. Set in Los Angeles, slightly in the future, the film follows Theodore Twombly (Phoenix), a complex, soulful man who makes his living writing touching, personal letters for other people. Heartbroken after the end of a long relationship, he becomes intrigued with a new, advanced operating system, which promises to be an intuitive entity in its own right, individual to each user. Upon initiating it, he is delighted to meet "Samantha" (voiced by Johansson), a bright, female OS who is insightful, sensitive and surprisingly funny. As her needs and desires grow in tandem with his own, their friendship deepens into an eventual love for each other. From the unique perspective of Oscar-nominated filmmaker Spike Jonze comes an original love story that explores the evolving nature -- and the risks -- of intimacy in the modern world. The release will be a Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack with 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: The Untitled Rick Howard Project; How do you Share Your Life with Somebody; and Her: Love in The Modern Age. Take Control of Castlevania's Alucard in 'Revelations'[teaser]First footage of the "fan-favorite" appears online. [/teaser] As promised, the Alucard-starring 'Revelations' is set to release next week. The single-player story content is DLC for 'Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2,' but of course Alucard originally starred as the lead in the seminal 'Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.' On a related note, Konami has promised that 'Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate HD' will be released on PC before the end of the month. This release will mean that the entire 'Lords of Shadow' trilogy will be available on PC.
