'Michael Schenker Fest - Live Tokyo' Headed for Blu-ray[teaser]The 2016 rock concert arrives on Blu-ray in March. [/teaser] In an early announcement to retailers, in-akustik has revealed 'Michael Schenker Fest - Live Tokyo' will be available on Blu-ray on March 24. Filmed and recorded at Tokyo's International Forum on August 24, 2016, this historic concert features guest appearances from some of the greatest rock vocalists who have worked with Schenker over the years including M.S.G.'S Gary Barden, Graham Bonnet, and Robin McAuley of the McAuley Schenker Group. "It's been a long time since M.S.G. - Live At Budokan," says Schenker. Like a miracle Michael Schenker returns to Japan with his past original singers from the '80's to celebrate the Michael Schenker Fest with Barden, Bonnet and McAuley at the amazing Tokyo International Forum. 5000 fans witnessed an anthology moment of quintessential hard rock music of the highest calibre. Says Schenker, "It's a miracle that after all these years, something like this took place with the original band members of "M.S.G.". A rediscovered gem newly restored by the 3-D Film Archive, September Storm is a CinemaScope Stereovision adventure that plunges the viewer into the depths of the Balearic Sea, off the coast of Spain. Mark Stevens stars as a treasure-hunter who convinces a yacht hand (Asher Dann) to take him and his cohort (Robert Strauss) on a quest for gold doubloons. They encounter many spectacles along the way: a violent storm, man-eating sharks, a deadly man o' war, but perhaps the most stunning sight of all is the bewitching model (Joanne Dru) who embarks on the journey with them. Two-time Academy Award® winner Ang Lee brings his extraordinary vision to Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, based on the widely-acclaimed, bestselling novel.
