Danny Boyle's '28 Years Later' Takes A Bite Out of Physical Media on September 23rd

Danny Boyle's sequel 28 YEars Later will infect our physical media collections with a 4K UHD SteelBook, standard 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, and 1080p Blu-ray release on September 23rd. The 4K UHD editions will offer up Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio.

Frustratingly, we still have nothing to report domestically about the 28 Years Later 4K UHD SteelBook currently up for preorder in the UK. We've asked again about that release for additional details and whether or not it'll be available stateside.

SYNOPSIS
It has been almost three decades since the rage virus escaped from a biological weapons laboratory. Still living in a ruthlessly enforced quarantine, some have found ways to exist amid the infected. One such group of survivors lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily defended causeway. When one of them decides to venture into the dark heart of the mainland, he soon discovers a mutation that has spread to not only the infected, but other survivors as well.
