Warner Brings 'Scanner Darkly,' 'Dog Day Afternoon' to Blu-ray, HD DVD

Posted Feb 21, 2007 at 02:35 PM PST by Unknown Author

Set to debut April 10, Warner Home Entertainment has announced the thriller 'A Scanner Darkly' and the classic 'Dog Day Afternoon' for simultaneous Blu-ray and HD DVD release.

Both titles will hit high-def sporting the same extensive extras as their standard-def DVD counterparts, which include a wealth of audio commentaries, featurettes, and more.

While Warner's press release does not indicate either video or audio specs, we expect comparable codecs and audio formats on each.

Warner has set a $28.95 list price for each title.

Stay tuned for final specs, including box art, in the coming days. We've added both titles to our complete Blu-ray Release Schedule and HD DVD Release Schedule under April 10.
