Receiving its first-ever special edition video release, Warner has announced an early-October Blu-ray bow for the 1981 erotic thriller 'Body Heat.'

Newly remastered, tech specs include a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/VC-1 video and English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio.
The newly-produced extras include a suite of three featurettes ("The Plan," "The Production," "The Post-Production") with all-new interviews with Hurt, Turner, and director Lawrence Kasdan, deleted scenes, and archival 1981 cast & crew interviews.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $28.95.
