'Violet & Daisy' Announced for Blu-ray

The acclaimed and imaginative film from Geoffrey Fletcher heads to Blu-ray in November.

In an early announcement to retailers, Cinedigm is preparing 'Violet & Daisy' for Blu-ray on November 19.

Written and directed by Academy Award®-winning screenwriter Geoffrey Fletcher ('Precious'), 'Violet & Daisy' is a mesmerizing hybrid of New York City crime fable and powerful coming-of-age tale. The film was released theatrically in June.

To celebrate his achievements on 'Violet & Daisy,' Fletcher was awarded the 2012 Savannah Film Festival’s SCAD Cinevation Award, which is given for imagination, inspiration and innovation in cinema.

Specs and supplements have yet to be revealed, but suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $34.95.
