Universal Studios is bringing the sports biopic 'The Express' to Blu-ray this January.
Based on the life story of football legend Ernie Davis, 'The Express' stars Dennis Quaid and Rob Brown and will hit Blu-ray on January 27 (day-and-date with the standard DVD).
Tech specs will see a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p video and an English DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround track.
Extras include audio commentary with director Gary Fieder, a quartet of featurettes ("Making of The Express," "Making History: The Story of Ernie Davis," "Inside the Playbook: Shooting the Football Games," "From Hollywood to Syracuse: The Legacy of Ernie Davis") and deleted scenes.
Exclusives include the "50th Anniversary of the 1959 Syracuse National Championship" excerpt, My Scenes Sharing, and BD-Live connectivity.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.98.
