Sony has issued full specs for the Blu-ray debut of 'Walk Hard,' which will hit high-def two weeks later than originally expected as a massive two-disc set brimming with extras.
As we first reported last month, Sony originally alerted retailers to a March 25 Blu-ray street date for the Judd Apatow-produced comedy hit 'Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story,' day-and-date with the standard-def DVD. Now the studio has issued the full media announce, chock full of previously unannounced supplements, as well as a new street date of April 8 for both the Blu-ray and DVD versions.
In addition to the previously announced Unrated cut of the film, the final supplements tally includes: an audio commentary with Apatow, director Jake Kasdan and stars John C. Reilly & Lew Morton; six making-of featurettes ("The Making of Walk Hard," "The Music of Walk Hard," "The Real Dewey Cox," "Tyler Nilson: A Cockumentary," "Bull On the Loose," "The Last Word with John Hodgman"); an additional "Last Interview with Dewey Cox,"; deleted & extended scenes; additional full song performances and song demos; a mock "A Christmas Song with Dewey Cox" music video; "Cox Sausage Commercials" with outtakes; and a "Line-O-Rama."
Tech specs include 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio in English and French (additional foreign language tracks and subtitle options are still TBA).
As previously announced, Sony has set a $43.98 suggested list price for the Blu-ray.
