Just in time for Halloween, Universal Studios Home Entertainment will unleash the critically-acclaimed horror flick 'Slither' on October 24 as an HD DVD/DVD hybrid disc.

Universal will present the film in 2.35:1 widescreen encoded at 1080p and Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 surround.

Though complete details on the extras have yet to be released, early specs include a filmmaker's audio commentary, deleted and extended scenes, and a gag reel.

The disc will carry a suggested retail list price of $39.95.
