'Vampire's Kiss / High Spirits' Planned for Blu-ray

Another Blu-ray double-feature is in the works for February.

In an early announcement to retailers, Scream Factory says 'Vampire's Kiss / High Spirits' will arrive on Blu-ray sometime in February.

'Vampire's Kiss' - Oscar winner Nicolas Cage is "amazing" (The New Yorker) in this outrageous, erotically charged thriller about a womanizing New York executive who becomes convinced that he's a vampire when one of his conquests bites his neck in the throes of passion. Jennifer Beals (Devil in a Blue Dress) sizzles as the femme fatale who sets Cage on his batty course in this darkly funny, "lively, imaginative fantasy" (Los Angeles Times)!

'High Spirits' - Impoverished Peter Plunkett (Peter O'Toole) hatches the perfect plan to save his debt-ridden Irish castle: lure American tourists by advertising his place as haunted. But when Peter and his staff don sheets and chains to go a-haunting, they scare up more than paying guests... they arouse the real ghosts of Castle Plunkett! And when American tourist Jack (Steve Guttenberg) spies a gorgeous ghost named Mary (Daryl Hannah), it's love at first sighting. Now all Jack has to worry about is Mary's murderous spook of a husband... and their 200-year ages difference!
