Paramount Home Entertainment has announced that it will bring the multiple Oscar-nominated 'Hustle & Flow' to Blu-ray and HD DVD this summer.
The acclaimed urban drama, which features an Oscar-nominated performance by star Terrence Howard and the immortal Best Song winner "It's Hard Out Here for Pimp," will hit both next-gen formats simultaneously on June 26.
Unfortunately, the studio has not yet announced specs for either version. However, given the studio's past track record on its high-def releases, we won't be surprised to see the usual 1080p transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks, plus the same supplements as the standard-def release of the film.
Paramount has set a $29.95 list price for either version.
Stay tuned for full details in the days ahead, and we've added new listings for 'Hustle & Flow' to our Blu-ray Release Schedule and HD DVD Release Schedule, under June 26.
