Posted Jul 14, 2008 at 08:00 AM PDT by Peter Bracke

New Line has announced plans to bring the drug drama 'Blow' to Blu-ray this September, featuring all-new exclusive content and Digital Copy.

Chronicling the rise and fall of drug czar George Jung, the Johnny Depp-Penelope Cruz starrer will make its next-gen debut on September 23.

Extras ported over from the previously, highly-acclaimed Infinifilm DVD edition include audio commentary with director Ted Demme and Jung, a subtitle fact track with branching video segments (featuring additional behind-the-scenes material), deleted scenes, additional behind-the-scenes and production diary featurettes, outtakes and theatrical trailers.

Exclusive to the Blu-ray release is "Focus Points," a picture-in-picture commentary with real-life biographical material on Jung (Profile 1.1 required), and a Digital Copy of the film.

Tech specs include 1080p video (2.40:1) and English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround and subtitle tracks. (At presstime, no high-res audio option has been announced.)

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $28.99
