A retro thriller from the Coen Brothers is slated for Blu-ray release this August.
In an early announcement to retailers, MGM/UA has announced 'Blood Simple' starring John Getz, Frances McDormand, and Dan Hedaya is coming to Blu-ray on August 3.
This noir tale of small town double-cross and murder was directed by Joel Coen and has been called "fiendishly clever" by Roger Ebert.
Specs and details have yet to be revealed, but the release will be a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack and suggested list price is $24.99.
