The second season of the classic series is planned for Blu-ray in May.
In an early announcement to retailers, Lionsgate will be releasing 'Little House on the Prairie: Season Two' on Blu-ray on May 6.
Season Two brings new challenges and unforgettable frontier adventures. When debts force Charles (Michael Landon) to work at several jobs, his entire family pitches in to earn the needed money. Mary's (Melissa Sue Anderson) gift for mathematics makes her the talk of the town. Charles helps an ailing widow find care for her three children, and the Ingalls family celebrates the nation's centennial with a joyous town party. Relive these favorite moments -- and so many more -- in this heartwarming 5-disc collection. With 22 original and uncut episodes, celebrate one of the most beloved TV series of all time with restored and remastered picture and sound.
Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements will include 40th Anniversary Documentary: The Little House Phenomenon Part Two - In The Beginning as well as Ultraviolet Digital Copies of all 22 episodes.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is still undetermined at this time.
