Lionsgate has revealed final specs and box art for 'The Forbidden Kingdom,' which will hit Blu-ray in September with 7.1 audio and Digital Copy.

First announced for Blu-ray release earlier this month, the Jackie Chan-Jet Li actioner is due to hit high-def on September 9, day-and-date with the standard DVD.

Extras shared across both versions include audio commentary with director Rob Minkoff and writer John Fusco, six featurettes ("The Kung Fu Dream Team," "Dangerous Beauty," "Discovering China," "Filming in Chinawood," "Monkey King and the Eight Immortals," "Previsualization"), deleted scenes, a blooper reel, and on a separate disc, a Digital Copy of the film for viewing on portable video devices.

Tech specs for the Blu-ray include video in 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 and a English DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 7.1 Surround soundtrack.

Finally, Lionsgate has issued the final box art for 'Forbidden Kingdom"

As previously announced, suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.98.
