As previously reported, Manga Home Entertainment will release 'Ghost in the Shell 2.0' on the high-definition format on November 24.
Full specs haven't been revealed yet, but the 2.0 edition of the movie features new CG/SFX for a number of scenes and also a 6.1 surround sound recording. The original soundtrack has been overseen by Academy Award-winning sound engineer Randy Thom.
Supplements for the Blu-ray are now in and will include: The Making of Ghost in the Shell 2.0, Commentary by director Mamoru Oshii and animation director Toshihiko Nishikubo (with subtitles), and Face-to-face exclusive interview with director.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $29.97.
