Proving that their support of Blu-ray is no mere token commitment, Fox Home Entertainment has announced an extensive wave of early 2007 titles flush with top catalog titles.
Hitting Blu-ray on January 23 are 'Men of Honor,' 'Courage Under Fire,' 'Commando' and an unrated 'Alien vs. Predator.'
This will be followed by a second wave in time for Valentine's day on February 13, led by the 2001 remake of 'Planet of the Apes,' 'Broken Arrow,' 'Chain Reaction' and 'Phone Booth.'
Fox has also rescheduled the previously-announced 'The Sentinel' and 'Entrapment' for February 13 (the two titles were originally expected on December 5), along with two titles from studio partner MGM, 'The Princess Bride' and 'The Usual Suspects' (the latter which was first set to debut next month, but has now been bumped).
All titles will feature the standard 1080p video transfers and DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio tracks, and a bevy of extras. Retail has been set at $39.95 a pop.
We've added complete listings with box art for all new titles (and updated the dates for the rescheduled existing titles) to our Blu-ray Release Date Schedule.
