Fox Home Entertainment has announced that it will bring the action-adventure epic 'Pathfinder' to Blu-ray this November in a new unrated version not seen in theaters.
Although 'Pathfinder' earned a meager $10 million during its limited US theatrical release this past winter, Fox plans to give it the red carpet treatment when it debuts the film on Blu-ray November 20, four months after it first hit standard DVD.
Included among the extensive extras on both the Blu-ray and the DVD will be an audio commentary with director Marcus Nispel, five featurettes and deleted scenes. Exclusive to the Blu-ray will also be "The Path Revealed" subtitle trivia fact track.
In addition, both the Blu-ray and the DVD editions will include a new unrated cut of the film, with 18 minutes of footage not seen in the original theatrical version.
Tech specs for the BD-50 disc include a 1080p/MPEG-2 transfer and a DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 surround track.
Retail price is $39.98.
We've added a new listing for 'Pathfinder' to our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it resides under November 20.
