The blockbuster comedy's expected Blu-ray delivery date isn't until April, but we've got an early peek at the box art for 'Juno'
The sleeper hit of 2007, 'Juno' may not have taken home Best Picture at last Sunday's Oscars, but it's coming to Blu-ray on April 15 (day-and-date with the standard DVD) as one of the most eagerly-awaited high-def releases of the year.
As we've previously reported, bonus features for the $130 million-grossing hit are extensive, with audio commentary by director Jason Reitman and screenwriter Diablo Cody, four making-of featurettes ("Way Beyond 'Our' Maturity Level: Juno - Leah - Bleeker," "Diablo Cody Is Totally Boss," "Jason Reitman For Shizz," "Honest To Blog!"), eleven deleted scenes, three outtake reels ("Gag Reel," "Gag Takes," "Cast and Crew Jam"), screen tests, and a Digital Copy of the film (for transfer to portable media devices).
Exclusive to the Blu-ray disc will be two TV specials, "Fox Movie Channel Presents: World Premiere - Juno" and "Fox Movie Channel Presents: Casting Session - Juno"
Tech specs for the high-def version boast a BD-50 dual-layer disc with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video, plus English DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround (48kHz/24-bit) and French and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround (640kbps) audio and English, French and Spanish subtitle options.
Adding a final piece to the puzzle, Fox has just issued the Blu-ray box art for 'Juno':
As previously announced, Fox has set a suggested list price of $39.98 for the Blu-ray.
You'll find complete specs for 'Juno' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under April 15.
