Bonus features have now been detailed for Jean-Luc Godard's acclaimed 2010 drama being prepped for Blu-ray in the new year.
As previously reported, Kino Video says 'Film Socialisme' starring Jean-Marc Stehlé, Agatha Couture and Mathias Domahidy will hit Blu-ray on January 10.
Legendary director Jean-Luc Godard returns to the screen with Film Socialisme, a magisterial essay on the decline of European Civilization. As a garish cruise ship travels the Mediterranean (with Patti Smith among its guests), Godard embarks on a state of the EU address in a vibrant collage of philosophical quotes, historical revelations and pure cinematographic beauty.
Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements will include an essay about “Film Socialisme by Richard Brody(author of “Everything is Cinema: The Working Life of Jean-Luc Godard”), trailers, stills gallery.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $29.95.
