Another love story based on a Nicholas Sparks novel is headed for high-definition this August.
In an early announcement to retailers, Disney/Buena Vista has dated 'The Last Song' starring Miley Cyrus and Greg Kinnear for Blu-ray on August 17.
The coming-of-age drama takes place in a small southern beach town and tells the story of how a passion for music helps a father bond with his teenage daughter.
Specs haven't been revealed yet, but the release will be a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack and supplements will include: Set tour with Bobby Coleman and Miley Cyrus music video: "When I Look At You."
Exclusive features include: Audio commentary with director Julie Anne Robinson and co-producer Jennifer Gibgot; Alternate opening sequence (with optional director commentary); deleted scenes (with optional director commentary); and Making of the Music Video, "When I Look At You."
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $39.99.
