Since making the choice to put on the military uniform, Oscar has watched over Marie Antoinette and seen much. The pettiness borne of royal ego, the strife wrought from class divisions, and most personally, the stress put on a young girl, given to rulership too soon. As France moves ever closer to revolution, Oscar protects the Queen from harm, but cannot look away from the encroaching darkness outside the walls. When the fire is lit, which side will Oscar choose?
