Plot Sypnosis:

Dementia 13 - Written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola and produced by Roger Corman, this cult film favorite served as Coppola's first mainstream directorial effort. The plot follows a scheming young woman who, after having inadvertently caused the heart attack death of her husband, attempts to have herself written into her late husband's family castle in Ireland, but her plans are permanently interrupted by an axe-wielding lunatic who begins to stalk and hack up members of the family.

The Terror - Produced in 1963 by Roger Corman, the film is famous for being written and shot in less than a week to take advantage of four days of work remaining on Boris Karloff's contract and using the castle sets leftover from Corman's previous AIP production, The Raven. After Corman filmed the key scenes, five different second-unit director added to the film before its release including Francis Ford Coppola, Jack Hill, and even co-star, Jack Nicholson. A soldier searching for his regiment follows a mysterious woman to the decaying castle of Baron Von Leppe only to find she is the Baron's wife who died 20 years earlier.
