And now, after moving in with his grandfather in the rural town of Nitta, he plans to do it again. But rather than the amateur players he was expecting, he meets the jovial yet driven catcher Go Nagakura, who's able to catch his fastballs within moments. With an eye on making it all the way to the legendary Koshien tournament, Takumi and Go join the Nitta Stars baseball team together.
