Plot Sypnosis:
Andrew Davies lavish adaptation of Jane Austens final work tells the story of Tom Parker, who is obsessed with turning the seaside village of Sanditon into a fashionable health resort. Tom invites Charlotte Heywood for an extended stay at Sanditon. The arrival of wealthy, mixed race heiress Miss Lambe, under the protection of Toms upright brother Sidney, adds an interesting complication.
